Many thanks to Rodeo Austin and BBQ committee chairs, David Hill and Brad Boyett, for their continued support of The Settlement Home and Austin area youth!

The Star of Texas Rodeo Austin is a wonderful organization that continues to do so much in the community to support youth.  The Settlement Home has been fortunate to be on the receiving end of that generosity.  In 2013, the BBQ committee raised $484,000 in scholarships, which were awarded to 45 students.

David Hill and Brad Boyett, BBQ committee chairs, delivered items from our wish list and over $3,000 in donations and gift cards to The Settlement Home.  If that wasn’t enough, in March, Rodeo Austin donated 24 tickets to our girls for the carnival and rodeo along with cash for the staff and girls to be able to afford food and fun at the rodeo.

The BBQ committee is currently planning two events where they have named The Settlement Home as the beneficiary.  Also they are hoping to double the amount of tickets that were donated to our girls for the Rodeo. Thank you for your continued support!
