A Taste of Tai Chi

Join us for a Tai Chi adventure! Instructor Wayne Key brings years of knowledge and instruction to you on Thursday, March 22 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The class will be held indoors at the Williamson Family Campus, 1607 Colony Creek Drive. The class fee is a $15 donation to the Settlement Home (cash or check.) Reserve your spot by contacting Marilyn Willson at 836-2150 ext. 145 or mwillson@settlementhome.org.  Class size is limited to 50 people.

This Tai Chi class is appropriate for all levels and is open to the public. We encourage you to bring a friend or family member! Tai Chi is an exercise that builds strength, balance, flexibility, improved breathing, concentration, memory and more.

Instructor Wayne Key has advanced experience in working with people of all ages and physical capabilities. Participants will not get down on the floor.

 

About Wayne Key
Wayne began his Martial Arts training in 1987 and was introduced to Yang family Tai Chi in 1991. His training includes a 3rd degree black belt in Cha Yon Ryu, as well as background in Hun Gar, Chi Gung and Shaolin Chun’fa. Today, with over 24 years of continuous training in the Arts and degrees in both Psychology and Philosophy, Wayne specializes in Tai Chi based fitness and renewal classes. He is certified as a Tai Chi for Health instructor by Dr. Paul Lam and is the regional coordinator for Dr. Lam’s Texas Tai Chi for Health workshop.
