The Settlement Home Run Club, staff and volunteers from Junior League of Austin were on the move at the Schlotzsky’s Bun Run 5k on April 29. The group blazed down the streets of Austin, many clocking their personal best times.

The Run Club, along with hundreds of walkers and runners, created a festive atmosphere on race day. Lead by Coach Megan, the Run Club meets weekly on campus to train for upcoming races in the community. Junior League of Austin members attend the weekly workouts and partner up with the girls for local races. By working together, the Run Club teaches our girls about maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle, while building self-confidence as they set and achieve their goals.
