The Settlement Home for Children

An Update from The Home

Campus restrictions extended to December 15, 2020.

As our community navigates ever-changing news and circumstances, we are closely monitoring the orders and recommendations provided by our statewide and local authorities. While the guidance we are receiving from various levels of government varies, we plan to follow the most restrictive set of guidelines given to our community by continuing to operate under our current campus protocols until December 15.  At that time, we will assess our organization’s next steps. As changes develop, we will continue to keep you informed. Thank you for supporting The Settlement Home for Children!

Our Mission

Our mission is to promote healing and growth in children, young adults and families by providing a continuum of care, support and resources.

We serve individuals who have experienced severe emotional trauma, abuse and neglect.

Our Programs and Services

The Settlement Home for Children is located on ten acres in north Austin. Our campus is rich in history and provides a tranquil atmosphere for children to heal and grow.

History of The Settlement Home for Children

“The Settlement Home has a great training program that will give you the rest of the skills you need. You’d also be surprised at how little time it takes to make a big difference in someone’s life, and by touching that life, you will ultimately touch many other lives in the future through them.”
