Residential Treatment Center

About Our Residential Treatment Center

The Residential Treatment Center (RTC) provides 27 beds for girls and women ages 11-21 in a highly structured environment with 24-hour therapeutic support. There are three cottages within the RTC: Nelson, Scarbrough and Moody.

Houseparent Model

We operate using a houseparent model: a direct care staff member called a “Houseparent” lives on-site and is present for our residents’ bedtime and waking time. This model provides consistency of care and promotes healing through trusting relationships with caregivers, allowing for comprehensive, holistic treatment for each resident we serve.

Therapeutic Support

Additionally, each RTC cottage is supported by a licensed therapist who determines and supervises the implementation of each child’s treatment plan. All of our residents have access to individual, family and group therapy.
