Clearing out your closet? Downsizing your house? Kids heading off to college? Want to get organized?

Whatever your reason might be, if you have too much stuff, consider donating it to the Annual Settlement Home for Children Charity Garage Sale. The Charity Garage Sale, held the first weekend in November, attracts more than 20,000 shoppers. All proceeds from the sale support The Settlement Home.

Donating items for the sale is easy. To schedule merchandise pickup from your house, call our Pickup Hotline at 512-448-5302. For more information, contact us at 512-836-2150. We accept donations at our warehouse on Mondays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The Settlement Home accepts new and gently used items that are suitable for resale. The Garage Sale features 20 well organized departments full of bargains, treasures and unique items.

We do not accept the following items:
Mattresses, sleeper sofas, baby car seats, FAX machines and telephones, halogen lamps, large appliances, building products, magazines, encyclopedias, pianos, organs, ceiling fans, broken or chipped glasses and plates, torn or stained clothing, school uniforms, worn or stained furniture, and particle board furniture.
