We spent the day in Lakeway recently for our first Donation Day Drive and all I can say is WOW!

I was amazed at the wonderful support we received from the Lakeway Women In Network (LWIN), who not only helped coordinate and organize the event, but also volunteer at it.  Papa Murphy’s in Lakeway rolled out the red carpet for us.  They cooked pizza and handed out free samples, as well as gave free pizzas out to anyone who donated!

And boy did the donations come in!  We got everything from clothes to furniture, decorative items to collectibles.  The people in Lakeway were generous with their donations and we feel so lucky to have been a part of it!  The day was tons of fun, but the really wonderful part of it was that we were sharing information about The Settlement Home.  Hopefully this is just the beginning of a great tradition!
