Back to school time means school supplies, new clothes, lunch surprises packed lovingly by mom and getting to see friends again.  But for some children, this time brings up anxiety.  Will I have clothes to wear?  Will I have school supplies?

For our children, the answer is yes.  Luckily, our children have received an outpouring of support from the community. 

Members of the Austin Charity League donated school supplies and backpacks.  Our office is filled with new binders and spirals notebooks that are just waiting to be used.  Austinites have donated clothing.  They have given shorts, jeans, t-shirts and skirts.  All the things that our children would need to go back to school, kind people have donated.  I am always amazed at the generosity of people.  It is truly amazing to see people give and help each other.
