It’s amazing the difference a makeover can make!  There is something about fresh paint, new pillows, fun colors and revamped flower beds that makes you smile.

The wonderful members of the Austin, Texas Chapter of The International Association of Home Staging Professionals (IAHSP) spent three days making over one of our Group Home cottages.  The flooring and furniture in this cottage had seen a lot of wear and tear over the years, so this makeover was really needed.

The home stagers worked on the front yard, improving the landscaping and adding new seating to the outside patio.  The walls were repainted and new flooring went in the living rooms.  Old, worn chairs and sofas were replaced by new and comfortable pieces.  The dining room table was given a face lift through a custom paint job.  The kitchen cabinets were repainted and the counter tops were refinished.  Creative art personalizes that space and creates an atmosphere of fun.

We are so appreciative of the hard work and thoughtfulness that went into this makeover!  It is clear that these volunteers thought about our girls and how they would use and enjoy the space.  We know our girls and staff will love living here and taking care of their cute cottage!
