Congrats to Dan, Senior Volunteer of the Year!

Every non-profit knows that a good volunteer is worth his or her weight in gold! We are so fortunate to have many wonderful, dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly towards our mission. They put our children first and commit full force to providing them a better future.

One such gem that we are extremely lucky to have is Dan Henshaw. Dan always greets you with a smile. A dedicated volunteer for 25 years, Dan can be found in the tool department at the warehouse on Mondays. He is there in the heat of summer and the cold of winter. Dan even celebrated his 90th birthday at the warehouse! Our Charity Garage Sale is a success because of people like Dan.

We congratulate Dan on being named the Austin American-Statesman’s Senior Volunteer of the Year!

We want to thank Dan, and the many wonderful people who volunteer for us, for everything. We are able to fulfill our mission because of your gift of time and heart.
